Solo Guys Welcome: Kimono Style

Kimono experience = just for girls?
Nope. Solo guys can absolutely enjoy it too.
No armor, no samurai cliché. Just authentic kimono styling.

Getting ready
Putting on a men’s kimono is much simpler than the women’s style—it takes only about 10 to 15 minutes. But once the obi is tightened around your waist, you feel instantly sharper, like your posture straightens on its own.

Let’s start shooting in studio
Shy? No worries. It’s a private photo studio.
And hey, you don’t even have to smile.
Our studio is quiet and spacious—professional, yet incredibly friendly. The atmosphere makes it easy to relax, have fun, and naturally get excited during your shoot.

Using sward
We also have a prop sword you can use for the photos. You can get that samurai vibe even without wearing armor. It definitely gives you a little boost of excitement. And with some dramatic lighting and shadows, the photos come out really cool.

Get out from the studio
Studio-only or a quick shoot in front of the shop — your choice. BUT, right in front of our studio is the super photogenic Gion Shirakawa area. It changes its look with every season, and it’s beautiful all year round. A quick storefront photoshoot here is always a must‑try.
Because of the rules in the Gion area, outdoor shooting has to finish by noon, so only guests with morning slots can enjoy it.
But honestly—“the early bird gets the worm” is totally true here!

Photo Album
While you’re enjoying your outdoor photoshoot, we’ll be creating a special album featuring you in front of beautiful Japanese scenery using composite photos. You’ll also receive all the digital data later—so look forward to it!

Fun moments always pass by so quickly. The whole experience takes about one to two hours, yet it feels like we’ve known each other much longer.
I’m the type who loves taking photos, so as a photographer I often can’t help snapping extra off‑shots. For example, if I spot a cute frog charm on your bag, I’ll probably take a quick photo of it. Of course, the main focus is your kimono photos, but I want you to remember the day in a fun and personal way. That’s why I sometimes include little bonus shots—your regular outfit or candid moments from the day.
It’s a professional experience, but also a very personal one. That’s the kind of special time we aim to create.
